so far, the day is a shambles 
i forgot to bring my mobile phone, i'm stuck with 2 pieces of
nonsensical work which will take a lot of effort, my boss has
suddenly switched to "anal mode" where everything must be stupidly
and insanely "by the book" even when in the same breath, she
mentioned that it cannot be done, but would still want the
statistics to be taken anyway (an exercise in futility)
i guess everyone's spending a huge amount of time and resources to
cover their own asses instead of doing their work...
maybe, "accountability" = "we don't trust you so you better prove
everything" has its drawbacks...
